Boarding Terms and Conditions
• FEES
All fees are charged by the day, to include the day of arrival and the day of departure. Payment of boarding fees will be made at the time of collection or, in the case of long-term boarders, accounts will be sent monthly. In the event of owners returning before the end of the period for which the cat is booked, the full period will be charged. At Christmas, New Year and Easter the minimum fee will be the equivalent fee of 5 days boarding.
• PAYMENTS
The payment for boarding fees and other services may be made by cash or cheque supported by a Bankers card. Paypal is available but in this case the fees must be paid prior to boarding.
• VACCINATIONS AND HEALTH
All cats accepted for boarding must be accompanied by a current vaccination certificate. A booster is required annually, and this must be done, at latest 3 weeks before the cat is to be boarded. Contact your Veterinary Surgeon for further information. Any cat suffering from contagious or infectious disease will not be admitted. All cats are examined on arrival, and the proprietor reserves the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill-health, pending veterinary advice. Male cats over the age of seven months, which have not been neutered, cannot be boarded mainly because they present an infection hazard. Visitors are asked not to touch any cat other than their own.
• VETERINARY FEES
Veterinary attendance is assured (should this be necessary) and any treatment prescribed by a vet can be continued during the cats stay. Veterinary fees incurred during the boarding period are the responsibility of the client and must be paid at the time of collection.
• BOOKINGS
Definite bookings should be made as early as possible. If a booking is cancelled with less than 14 days notice a cancellation fee will be charged.
• TRANSPORT
All cats MUST be transported in a secure carrier.
Every care will be taken regarding the care, welfare and safety of all cats boarded.
Cats are boarded entirely at the client’s risk.
